What to do?
“I am that hard working person who wants to keep the money that I’ve worked hard for. Who has worked with people who do less work than they are able to so that they are still eligible for government checks — who really work harder to stay on assistance than they would in a normal, non-leeching job. If taxes are increased to the rates Obama is rumored to support, then I’m going to have to make major changes and sacrifices so that others can continue to be a drain on society and an overall waste of space, food, air and energy. And they’re the ones having umpteen illegitimate children who will undoubtedly continue this disgusting cycle.
But at the end of the day, I return to my social beliefs about life, education, the environment, sexuality, stem cell research and healthcare. Things that may or may not affect me personally, but really and legitematly could one day affect me or my loved ones. So I morally believe I have to fight for those rights.
What to do? Good thing I have two and a half more months to mull it over.”
I hate posting anything political… but I really found what katiebeck had to say important and pretty much where I stand on things.
