NYC Prep can’t compete with this. I like Chuck Bass too much.

We just booked a weekend in the Ozarks, so here is the questions.
What do we need to do, where do we need to go, how expensive? etc….
Aliexplainsitall, you’re a mizzou grad, correct? I’m looking to you on this.
Yep, I’m a Mizzou grad and I’ve spent many long weekends down at the Lake of the Ozarks. It’s fairly cheap, depending on how much you spend on booze, but compared to Chicago, the drink prices at the lake are a steal. We’ve always stayed at my friends house, so I’m not sure about hotels and resorts down there. As far as bars, it’s been a while since i’ve been down there and won’t get back until Labor Day, but I would definitely suggest the Horny Toad and Toad Cove (always a Lake of the Ozarks staple), Topsiders, Dog Days (my friend recommended this as a fun, low key alternative to a club and it’s close to Party Cove), Dockknockers is a fun restaurant for the day.
Check out this website for some more options.
Hope this helps and you have a good time!
or giving me his cell phone number “just in case I need it.”
Trust me I won’t.

Dear aliexplainsitall,
I think you may be a Hazel Nut, so I’m curious, are you also a fan of the Pat McGee Band? Please say you are …
Hope you are having an excellent Monday.

I probably wouldn’t consider myself a “Hazel Nut” (I hadn’t even heard of these hard core fans until I saw a few girls wearing homemade “Hazel Nut” T-shirts at the concert the other night), but i’m definitely a fan.
I haven’t listened much to the Pat McGee Band, but your post inspired me to listen to more of their music… and I must say i’m already a fan. Great stuff. I may have to go to his concert at the zoo in a few weeks.
Thanks for turning me on to some new tunes!
